PPJT Three Toll worth Rp 21.6 trillion Signed
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) signed three Toll Road Concession Agreement (concession agreement) worth Rp 21.60 trillion for the construction of toll 171.01 Km on Friday (4/9) in Jakarta. Three toll roads are Bakauheni-Terbanggi Large, (155.44 Km) Palembang-Indralaya (24.48 Km) and Soreang-Pasir Koja (8.15 Km).
The agreement was signed by Director General of Highways, Mr Hediyanto Husaini representing the Ministry PUPR with the investor of PT Hutama to Bakauheni-Terbanggi segment Large and Palembang-Indralaya and combined PT Wijaya Karya, PT. Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada, PT. Jasa Sarana and PT. Citra Marga Traffic on highway Soreang West Java Pasir Koja.
PUPR Minister, Mr Basuki Hadimoeljono said the three toll road will connect the center of national activities with other strategic activity centers such as airports, ports and others. By connecting the centers of the distribution logistics activities will be faster at reasonable cost thus increasing competitiveness.
Mr. Minister PUPR explained, for the construction of toll roads Bakauheni-Terbanggi Large and Palembang-Indaralaya motorway which is part of the Trans Sumatra highway, assignment scheme applied to the PT. Hutama. The assignment pursuant to Presidential Decree (Decree) No. 100 of 2014 on the Acceleration of the Toll Road in Sumatra.
"This scheme is applied to toll road sections that are economically but not financially viable and government funding has limitations," explained the Minister PUPR.
With the assignment scheme, for highways Bakauheni -Terbanggi Great, there is the state capital participation (PMN) worth Rp 8.067 trillion. As for banking loans worth Rp 8.067 trillion. The highway construction is planned for completion by the end of 2018, while for the land acquisition process was completed in 2016. The toll road is divided into three sections: Bakauheni - Interchage (IC) Sidomulyo, IC Sidomulyo - Branti IC and IC Branti - IC Terbanggi Besar.
For the construction of the motorway construction Palembang - Indralaya, PT. Hutama also got PMN of Rp 2.31 trillion. Other sources of funding will come from bank loans of Rp 990.336 billion. Toll roads along the 24.48 km is also divided into three sections, namely Palembang - Palumutan IC, IC Palumutan - IC IC KTM and KTM - Indralaya.
Land acquisition is targeted to be completed by the end of this year. While its physical construction is planned to be completed in 2017. For information, PT. Hutama get a concession (concession) for highways Bakauheni-Terbanggi Large and motorway Palembang - Indralaya for 40 years.
Other segments of its concession agreement signed is a toll road Soreang-Pasir Koja with an investment of Rp 1.51 trillion. The toll road will be connecting Bandung access to South Bandung. It aims to equitable development in the area of Bandung, which is still resting in the northern region. In addition, the toll road Soreang-Pasir Koja is one of the infrastructure used to support the implementation of the National Games XVI in West Java.
