Kalikuto Bridge is a new icon of Semarang - Batang Toll Road. This bridge connects two districts namely Batang and Kendal The bridge, which is built along 100 meters, has two bridges next to it with a size of 32.3 meters. The main arch height is ± 30 meters (from top level asphalt to CG arch). The installation of each part of the bridge is carried out in stages starting from segment 1 and so on to 12 segments. This is the first bridge in Indonesia whose structure is assembled at the installation site. Kalikuto Bridge is designed not only structurally sturdy, but also aesthetically and artistically so it is beautiful to see. Previously the bridge was functionalized during the Lebaran Lebaran season in 2018, with the function of this bridge, homecomers heading to Semarang, Solo, Surabaya and the surrounding areas did not need to go out in Gringsing, so the travel time of the travelers was more efficient. Construction of the 75 km Semarang-Batang Toll Road is divided into 5 sections. Section 1 Batang-Tulis is 3.2 Km long, Section 2 Write-Weleri is 36.4 Km, Section 3 Weleri-Kendal is 11.05 Km, Section 4 Kendal-Kaliwungu is 13.5 Km and Section 5 Kaliwungu-Krapyak is 10.1 Km . The construction progress of the entire Batang-Semarang Toll Road has reached 88.78% which is planned to be operational in December 2018. This toll road is managed by PT. Jasamarga Semarang Batang with the composition of the shareholders of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is 60% and PT. Waskita Toll Road 40%. The toll road with an investment cost of 11.05 Trillion is designed with a speed of 100 km / h, with an initial lane of 2x2x3.6 M and a final lane of 2x3x3.6 M.
