Housed in the Office of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) has signed Toll Road Concession Agreement (concession agreement) Ruas Medan - Binjai between BPJT Head, Mr. Achmad Gani Ghazaly Akman, the President Director of PT. Hutama Karya (Persero) (Pt. HK), Mr. I Gusti Ngurah Putra. Toll roads Medan - Binjai is one of the four toll roads is an assignment to the PT. HK as mandated by Presidential Decree No. 100 of 2014 on the Acceleration of the Toll Road in Sumatra.

The event begins with the reading of the summary of the agreement by notary and continued with the signing of the concession agreement and the speech of President Director of PT. HK, Representative of the Directorate General of Highways, and Head BPJT. In his speech, President Director of PT. HK expressed his wish untukk complete construction of Toll Road Medan - Binjai in the soonest possible time. It also conveyed the expectations related to the completion of the land acquisition is not just for the Road Toll Medan - Binjai, but also for other segments (Road Toll Palembang - Indralaya, Road Toll -Kandis Pekanbaru - Dumai and Toll Road Bakauheuni - Terbanggi Big).
