President of RI Joko Widodo inaugurated Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu Seksi IB and IC Cipinang - Jaka Sampurna (3/11). Located at Sumber Artha, Bintara Jaya Urban Village, Bekasi City, President Joko Widodo was accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor of West Java.
Cipinang toll road - Jaka Sampurna along 8.4 KM which is part of Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu Toll Road. Toll Road Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu has a total length of 23.8 KM and is divided into 2 sections: Section 1 Cipinang - Jaka Sampurna along 11.9 KM and Section 2 Jaka Sampurna - Duren Jaya with a length of 11.9 KM.
The government commissioned PT. Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga to carry out the Toll Road business of Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu. PT. Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga whose share ownership is owned by PT. Waskita Toll Road with 98.97% and PT. Jasa Marga Tbk amounted to 1.03%. The Toll Road Concession Agreement was signed on February 22, 2007 and amended on December 16, 2011. From the financial aspect, the required investment cost amounted to 7.2 Trillion. The concession period of Bekasi toll road - Cawang - Kampung Melayu is 45 years. Speed of plan on this section is 80 KM / h with 2x3 lane number.
Bekasi toll - Cawang - A 23.8 km Malay kampong is built with elevated roads stretching from Tambun - Bekasi to Kampung Melayu. Toll is the answer to the needs of the community on the current problems and traffic volume is increasingly crowded and impact on the travel time is getting longer. The existence of Toll Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu will also increase the traffic flow of logistics vehicles to Karawang, Cibitung and Bandung, thus reducing traffic volume in Jakarta-Cikampek toll.
