Visit of Deputy Regent of Semarang and Members of the Semarang Parliament to BPJT

The Deputy Regent of Semarang, Mr. Ngesti Nugraha and Members of the Semarang Regency DPRD visited the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) in order to request a Liaison Bridge on the Semarang-Solo Toll Road, Tuesday (19/3).

The meeting held in the BPJT Meeting Room was led by BPJT Member Element of the PUPR Ministry Mr. Agita Widjajanto and was attended by PT. Jasamarga Solo Ngawi, PT. Trans Marga Jateng as Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) Semarang-Solo Toll Road and officials in the BPJT Secretary's Environment.

The Deputy Regent of Semarang said that there was a request from the community to build a People Crossing Bridge (JPO) on the Semarang-Solo Toll Road that connects Deresan Hamlet and Ketanggen Hamlet, Susukan Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency.

PT. Jasamarga Solo Ngawi has built two crossings in Section IV of Salatiga-Boyolali which is ± 200 meters from the location equipped with a 3 meter wide frontage for crossing the movement of tourist areas, but it is considered less close to residential areas.

Mr. Agita Widjajanto said "After considering the technical aspects of safety built about bridges that are needed at locations with a height of ± 30 meters and have a wind speed of ± 30 knots so that it is quite suitable for people who will move.

"With the aspect of safety, we support to build the proposed JPO bridge, for the DPRD and Pemkab Semarang to jointly provide information to the public about all activities that will be facilitated with bridges that have been built." Add Mr. Agita Widjajanto

For information, the Semarang-Solo Toll Road has a total length of 72.64 Km already fully operated. This toll road consists of 5 sections, namely, 10.85 along Section I Semarang-Ungaran which was inaugurated in 2011, Ungaran-Bawen Section II along 11.95 was inaugurated in 2014, Section III Bawen-Salatiga with a length of 17.60 Km which was inaugurated in 2017, Section IV of Salatiga-Boyolali along 24.13 Km and Section V of Boyolali-Kartasuro along 8.41 Km which was inaugurated in 2018.
