Know the Speed Limit of Driving On Toll Roads
Jakarta - When driving on the toll road, of course, you must comply with the driving rules that have been determined. The purpose of the speed limit regulation on toll roads is to keep the vehicle focused and to know the maximum speed limit when driving a car to prevent accidents, especially at points that are prone to accidents.
As well as driving speed rules, it is contained in the speed regulation on toll roads regulated in government regulation no. 79 of 2013 concerning the Road Traffic and Transportation network (LLAJ) article 23 paragraph 4.
Reinforced by the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation concerning Procedures for Determining Vehicle Limits Article 3 paragraph 4 in Article 23 paragraph 4, it is stated that the speed limit on toll roads is 60 to 100 kilometers per hour, in accordance with traffic signs installed.
In the regulation it is written that the speed limit on the freeway or toll road is a minimum of 60 km/h to a maximum of 100 km/h.
To drive on the inner city toll road itself, the minimum driving speed is (60 km/hour), the maximum driving speed is (80 km/hour). Then to drive on toll roads outside the city, the minimum (60 km/hour) and maximum (100 km/hour).
Although there are already individual speed limits, drivers must pay attention and always concentrate in order to avoid accidents with other vehicles in the vicinity. (BPJT/Dms)
