East Brebes Toll Road - Pemalang Interchange Along 42.7 Km Inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia

The government has widely built the Trans Java Toll Road along 1,150 km from Merak to Banyuwangi which is expected to be able to connect as a whole by the end of 2019. One of the toll roads inaugurated by President Joko Widodo is Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road section 3 and 4 from East Brebes to Sewaka is 37.3 Km long and Pemalang-Batang Toll Road, Sewaka-Simpang (SS) segment, Pemalang is 5.4 Km long, Friday (9/11).

The inauguration held at the Tegal Toll Gate was marked by the president by President Joko Widodo who was accompanied by PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, BUMN Minister Rini Soemarno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Coordinator of the President's Special Staff, and Managing Director of PT Waskita Karya I Gusti Ngurah Putra.

President Jokowi said that in the past four years, one by one the improvement of the connectivity network in the country of Indonesia has increasingly materialized, one of which is the completion of the Trans Java Toll Road.

"Inter-island connectivity, between provinces, between municipal districts, both in the form of ports, roads and airports, are increasingly integrated. Regions by region, region by region, island by island are starting to connect," said President Joko Widodo.

Thus communicating, can affect new economic growth points throughout the land, followed by the distribution of goods and services that will be more smoothly. If we hope for social justice, equity, will be more evident in all the world that we have.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said, according to the initial target, at the end of 2018 the entire Trans Java toll road will take effect which connects Merak to Surabaya for 870 Km. Currently 640 km have operated including Pejagan - Pemalang Toll Road and Pemalang - Batang Toll Road.

"Furthermore, along the 230 Km will operate until the end of 2018, namely the Sragen - Ngawi Toll Road along 51 Km on November 2, Pemalang Toll Road - Batang for 33 km, Batang - Semarang Toll Road for 75 km, Salatiga Toll Road - Solo is 32 km long, along the 39 Km Wilangan - Kertosono Toll Road, all of which will operate at the latest on the 2nd week of December 2018, "said the Minister of PUPR.

The Minister of PUPR stated that the Government will all Trans Java toll roads before the end of December 2018, to support the 2018 Christmas and New Year mudik 2019. All toll roads that have just been inaugurated and will be operational will be used for their definitive rates in January 2019.

Meanwhile, PUPR, a 280 Km toll road from Surabaya to Banyuwangi is currently operating for 43 Km. It is expected that the 52 Km will be able to operate at the end of 2018 and the remaining 185 Km in the land acquisition stage and the research will be completed in 2019.

For information on Pejagan - Pemalang Toll Road managed by PT. Pejagan Pemalang Tol Road has a total length of 57.5 Km which is divided into 4 sections, namely: Section 1 Pejagan - West Brebes along 14.2 Km which was inaugurated in June 2016, Section 2 Brebes Barat - East Brebes with a length of 6 Km Which was inaugurated in June 2016, Section 3 East Brebes - East Tegal along 10.4 Km and Section 4 East Tegal - Pemalang with a length of 26.9 Km. The Toll Road Concession Agreement came out on July 21, 2006 and was amended on July 7, 2011. The concession period of the Pejagan - Pemalang Toll Road is 45 years Development of 7.62 Trillion Capacity.

Pemalang - Batang Toll Road has a total length of 39.20 Km which is divided into 2 sections, namely: Section 1 SS Pemalang - SS Pekalongan along 23.30 Km and Section 2 SS Pekalongan - Batang with a length of 15.90 Km. Exploitation of Pemalang Toll Road - Batang is carried out by PT. Pemalang Batang Toll Road since the signing of the Toll Road Concession Agreement on July 21, 2006 and amended on July 7, 2011.
