Inauguration of Kedung Badak Toll Road - Yasmin intersection
Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono inaugurated the Kedung Badak -Yasmin Intersection Toll Road on Thursday (7/6) at Jl. Sholeh Iskandar, Bogor, Minister of PUPR was accompanied by Plt Mayor of Bogor Usmar Hariman, President Director of Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Desi Arryani and President Director of Marga Sarana Jabar Hendro Atmojo.
In his remarks the Minister of PUPR stated that the construction of this BORR toll road will continue until Section III. Later, this BORR toll road will be able to connect to Parung and Depok - Antasari Toll Roads.
"This toll road, we will continue towards Parung and then towards Antasari, south to Cigombong again, so the Bogor ring road. Hopefully the toll road system will be formed, "added the PUPR Minister.
The 2.05 Km toll road is part of the Bogor Ring Road toll road which has a total of 11.95 Km and is divided into 3 sections: Section I Sentul Selatan - Kedung Halang along 3.85 Km which has been operated on in 2009, Section IIA Kedung Halang - Kedung Badak with a length of 1.09 Km which was inaugurated May 28, 2014, Section IIB Kedung Badak - Simpang Yasmin which has a length of 2.05 Km which will be inaugurated today and Section III Simpang Yasmin - Darmaga with long 3.15 Km is still under construction.
Bogor Ring Road Toll Road is expected to solve the problem of traffic flow density on Jalan Soleh Iskandar, besides that toll road users are also expected to shorten travel time compared to passing arterial road.
The toll road with an investment cost of 2.049 trillion is expected to facilitate the distribution and reduce the cost of goods and services logistics between regions. With good infrastructure access, business and investment will also grow. From the tourism sector many tourism areas in Bogor are expected to also be developed, this highway presents a beautiful panorama of Mount Salak for the users of the highway when it will enter the City of Rain.
Toll Road Concession Bogor Ring Road is implemented by PT. Marga Sarana Jabar, which signed the toll road concession agreement on May 29, 2006 and amended on August 8, 2011. The concession period of the Ngawi toll road concession - Kertosono is 45 years from the issuance of Construction Beginning Order (SPMK).
Technically, Bogor Ring Road Toll Road is done with a rigid pavement type and has a 2 x 2 lane number in the early stages and 2 x 3 in the final stages. The width of the lane reaches 3.5 meters and the outer shoulder is 2.5 meters.
