New Strategies Attract Investors Government in Toll Road
Problems faced in the concession has been on land acquisition that requires a long process. Presented by the Chief BPJT, Ir. A. Gani Ghazaly Akman, M.Eng.Sc in discussions with PUPR Journalists Forum held at home eating Kelapa Dua, Senayan, Thursday, 16th April 2015, that in order to overcome this problem, the Government adopted a new strategy, namely to acquire land in advance prior to the auction investor in a highway construction projects. This step refers to the Presidential Regulation 38 of 2015 concerning Government Cooperation with Business Entities in Infrastructure Provision.
"So our land freed first by the state budget (Budget of the State) to land freed 75% then we do auctions pengusahaannya", said Chief BPJT in a discussion of it. It has been applied to the Toll Road Soreang - Pasirkoja, which the Government to acquire land in advance until it reaches 75%, new to the auction investors.
Expected by BPJT head, with this new strategy, a serious investor in toll road projects easier in the implementation of the toll road construction, so no stalled toll road projects in the future. It is also expected in the future there will be no investors who participate in the auction only viable toll road concession scramble but are reluctant to build and hoped to profit from selling these concessions to other investors.
