Jakarta - As a real effort to support the positive interests and talents of the young generation contained in the art of drawing, Mural 2019 Competition has been decorated to decorate 32 pillars of toll roads in the area of Jalan Wiyoto Wiyono, Cempaka Putih, East Jakarta by PT. Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP). In this case the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) is very appreciative of the implementers and mural participants who have participated in the activity.
Thus the remarks were delivered by the Head of the General Section of BPJT at the Ministry of PUPR, Mahbullah Nurdin representing the Head of BPJT of the PUPR Ministry, Danang Parikesit in the opening of CMNP Mural Competition 2019, at CMPN Head Office, Jakarta, Friday (7/26/19).
Nurdin said, the art drawing competition carried out by artist friends in order to make this mural was a very interesting activity. Because, by making murals on concrete poles under the toll road this gives a positive effect for the passing drivers so as not to be boring when passing through this area.
"If you see a lot of concrete under the toll poles, it is gray, but now it will be changed to be colorful with beautiful mural images. So that people while driving are not saturated, and eliminate the feeling of fatigue because they are interested in seeing the beauty that exists, "Nurdin said.
Nurdin said, although the number of poles was only 32 poles and not as much as last year, it would not reduce the essence of drawing desired by artists. This is a place as well as a place that can be another example for people to carry out mural activities like this and become an inspiration for us all.
"Our country, Indonesia, is a country that is very rich in beauty, so that the beauty will not disappear. When lately a lot of good things have disappeared, don't let the good things disappear for our grandchildren in the future, "Nurdin said.
Previously this mural competition was held in 2018 before the 2018 Asian Games event, so that in 2019 this re-event was held which was also part of the 32nd CMNP Anniversary titled Highway Art Competition Clan (HACK) with the theme raised was "We Unite" and working with Glitch Art Management as the organizer.
Independent Director of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. (CMNP) Djoko Sapto Mulyo said this positive activity was also a series of the 74th anniversary of Indonesia on August 17, 2019.
