Commencement of First Drilling for Harbor Road II Toll Road Construction
Jakarta - On August 17, 2021, the first drilling was carried out for the construction of the East Ancol – Pluit (Harbour Road II) Toll Road project on Jl. RE. Martadinata, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
Later, the construction of the Ir Wiyoto Wiyono MSc Section Harbor Road II Toll Road will start from East Ancol to Pluit with a length of 9.6 Km with the concept of an Elevated Toll Road construction.
The first drilling was witnessed directly by the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Danang Parikesit, CMNP President Director Fitria Yusuf, CMNP Directors Bambang Hartadi and Hasyim, and Highway Director General Highways Budi Harimawan Semihardjo. Previously, the initial preparation work for the construction of the HBR II Toll Road had also begun on April 19, 2021.
This toll road will be integrated with the Tanjung Priok Access (ATP) and Ir Sedyatmo Toll Road or Soekarno-Hatta Airport Toll Road. In addition, the presence of the HBR II Toll Road will also contribute to forming the full circle of the JORR 1 toll road and its interconnection with the JIUT toll road.
The construction of the HBR II Toll Road section is managed by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) and its construction is expected to be completed in 2024, with an investment cost of around Rp. 15.8 Trillion.
The location of the lanes of the HBR II Toll road project is in accordance with the 2030 DKI Jakarta Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) related to the Spatial Structure and Pattern Plan. The existence of the HBR II Toll Road is also expected to increase the competitiveness of the Tanjung Priok Port in terms of sea logistics route efficiency. (BPJT Dms & Public Relations CMNP)
