Hi #SobatBPJT - While driving, of course sometimes we feel tired and take the time to rest and worship for a while in the Rest Area. Many service facilities are obtained when toll road users are in the Rest Area, one of which is a place of worship or a mosque with various building design characteristics when found. This time, we will discuss about unique mosques and iconic designs in the BPJT version of the Toll Road rest area which have been summarized, namely:

1. Al Safar Mosque

Rest Area KM 88 Cipularang Toll Road

Al Safar Mosque has a modern design. The building design was designed by the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil & received an award from Saudi Arabia for the nomination for the best architectural mosque version of the Abdullatif Al Fozan Award 2019 along with 26 other mosques in the world.

2. Bawen Semarang Toll Mosque

Rest area KM 22 Toll Semarang – Bawen

This large red domed mosque has a unique design on its roof. When you are inside the mosque, you can see the roof frame made of mild steel stretched across all layers of the roof.

3. Al Mi'raj Masjid Mosque

Rest area KM 97 Cipularang Toll

The mosque with a modern concept complete with a large dome, 2 high towers makes it like the Miniature of the Prophet's Mosque, at night it emits beautiful lights too

4. Masjid Ar-Rahman

Rest Area KM 66 Pandaan-Malang Toll Road

The mosque has a unique design in the form of a trapezoid. The walls of the mosque look triple layered on one side & the other side is double layered, the more comfortable & cool it is to be in this mosque.

5. Al-Muhajirin Mosque

Rest Area KM 36A Balikpapan - Samarinda Toll Road

The mosque with a majestic green domed white building texture design is in the middle of the Balikpapan - Samarinda Toll Road, unique and comfortable giving the impression of this mosque.

6. Dzunnuraini Mosque

Rest Area KM 45 Jagorawi Toll

The design of this mosque is like a Javanese palace pavilion house with a joglo roof. Standing towers with a modern minimalist pattern make it look more unique.

7. Sabiilul Istiqomah Mosque

Rest Area KM 379A Batang - Semarang Toll Road

This mosque is a facility that supports the needs of rest area users with a unique, round, and modern building architecture.

8. Babah Alun Mosque

Depok - Antasari Toll Road

This mosque resembles an ethnic Chinese building, reinforced with dominant red, yellow & white ivory colors, embellished with Bamboo Curtain country ornaments for the windows, doors, pillars of the mosque and the outside of the roof of the building.

9. Saka Buana Mosque

Tangerang-Merak Toll Bamboo Mosque

The largest bamboo mosque in Indonesia has the shape and selection of materials with the concept of Nature. 60% Bamboo material as the main material in buildings, nuanced cultural treasures & local wisdom.
