Groundbreaking of Cinere – Jagorawi Toll Road Section 3 (Limo – Kukusan)
Depok - The government through the Ministry of PUPR continues to support infrastructure development in Indonesia, one of which is the construction of toll road infrastructure which has been proven to provide tangible benefits in encouraging economic growth and equity in a region.
On Friday (28/05/2021) the construction of the Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road Section 3 (Limo - Kukusan), this was marked by the groundbreaking process, which was attended by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono.
The Minister of PUPR in his speech said “Today we will carry out a groundbreaking for the Cinere – Jagorawi Toll Road Section 3 (Limo – Kukusan) along the 5.44 Km. Sections 1 and 2 have been operating in 2012 and 2019, so it has been almost 10 years with a length of 14 Km. This does not mean that we are slow in doing our work, but indeed in urban areas the challenges are much bigger.”
"The 5 Km Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road is planned to be completed next year, if the land acquisition is complete, infrastructure development will be faster. The Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road has 3 sections, namely Section 1 Raya Bogor - Cimanggis along 3.7 Km which has been operating in February 2012, Section 2 Kukusan - Raya Bogor with a length of 5.5 Km which has been operating in September 2019 , and Section 3 Limo – Kukusan along the 5.44 Km which will be groundbreaking today with a land acquisition progress of 70.16% and is targeted to operate in February 2022 for the Cinere – Limo Section and June 2022 for the Kukusan – Limo Section.
The concession of the Cinere – Jagorawi Toll Road is carried out by PT Translingkar Kita Jaya with a concession period of 40 years. This toll road was built with a total investment of Rp. 3.2 trillion and is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2 Toll Road network.
Head of BPJT Danang Parikesit also said that the Cinere - Jagorawi Road is important in the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2 Toll Road network because it will connect the west and east sides of JORR 2. On the east side there is the Cimanggis - Cibitung and Toll Roads. Cibitung – Cilincing, west side of Cinere – Serpong and Cengkareng – Kunciran.
"If the Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road is completed, the JORR 2 Toll Road network will be completed. It is hoped that in June or at the latest in the second quarter of 2022, it will be operational. With this, the movement of the flow of goods will no longer cause significant disruption to the Jabodetabek road and it is hoped that the construction work and land acquisition in Section 3 can run well." the light
For information, the JORR 2 Toll Road is divided into 6 sections, namely Cengkareng – Batu Ceper – Kunciran Toll Road along 14.19 Km, Kunciran – Serpong Toll Road along 11.14 Km, Serpong – Cinere Toll Road along 10.14 Km, Toll Road Cinere – Jagorawi is 14.7 Km long, Cimanggis – Cibitung Toll Road is 26.18 Km and Cibitung – Cilincing Toll Road is 34.02 Km.
Also accompanying the Minister of PUPR, Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of PUPR Danang Parikesit, Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian, Secretary of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of PUPR Triono Junoasmono and Director of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Budi Harimawan.
