Prediction Traffic Of Annual Al-Fitr 2017

This year's Lebaran holiday starts on Saturday, June 24 to Sunday July 2, 2017 (9 days), this holiday is only one day less than last year's Lebaran holiday but BPJT (Toll Road Agency) predicts that the traffic flow path Back and forth in 2017 will be slightly higher than Lebaran traffic in 2016 (2-10 July). This is due to the addition of functional lines from East Brebes to Semarang with the prediction of peak flow of homecoming on Saturday, June 24, 2017 and the peak of the return of Sunday 2 July 2017.

The operation of toll will be optimized to serve the increased traffic both back and forth in the 2017 Lebaran season accompanied by the addition of officers at each toll gate to reduce the queue that occurred.

Trans Java and Sumatera transitional functional lines will also be opened on several roads, these two toll roads can be used by toll users during the Lebaran holiday 2017. The functional toll road segments include Pemalang - Batang, Batang - Semarang, and parts of Semarang - Solo, Solo - Ngawi, Ngawi - Kertosono, Surabaya - Mojokerto, Gempol - Pasuruan. While the functional trans-Sumatra toll road segment covers part of Medan - Kualanamu - Tebing Tinggi, Medan - Binjai, Palembang - Indralaya and Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar segments.

Resting Place (IT) and Resting Place and Service (TIP) will be optimally operated. Temporary resting place on the Pejagan toll road - Pemalang, Pemalang - Batang and Batang Semarang. Parking bay will also be provided to facilitate travelers who will rest.

Vehicle services will also be prepared such as ambulances, cranes and rescue. In addition, the Variable Message Sign (VMS) will be deployed at several BPJT toll sites as well as monitoring traffic through CCTV. To facilitate the toll road users will be provided JMCare Mobile Application services as toll road information including traffic conditions that can be easily accessed by users via smartphone.
