Jakarta - The Ministry of PUPR is planning the construction of an Integrity Zone (ZI) towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) / Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) for 12 work units within the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Highways in 2021. This is done as a efforts to realize bureaucratic reform and good governance and prevent acts of corruption.

"Prevention of corruption is not enough by building the system and catching the perpetrators, but it takes good morals and behavior from each of us. "Karimah moral ethics are needed, because the perpetrators of corruption are not people who do not know the law but do not have moral ethics," said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono.

The Directorate General of Highways (Bina Marga) has launched the construction of an Integrity Zone towards WBK / WBBM in 12 work units, namely the Secretariat of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (represented by the Secretary of the BPJT Ministry of PUPR Triono Junoasmono), the Center for National Road Implementation (BBPJN) East Java and Bali, the National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) NTB, BBPJN South Sumatra, BBPJN DKI Jakarta and West Java, BBPJN Central Java and DIY, BBPJN East Kalimantan, BPJN West Sulawesi, Road Materials Center, Bridge Hall, Geotechnical Center, Tunnels and Structures, and Pavement and Environment Centers Street.

The declaration of ZI Development is the first step and part of the success of the Bureaucratic Reform, by structuring a good, effective, efficient and excellent service governance system.

The goal of the development of ZI development towards WBK / WBBM is to create a good and clean government with bureaucratic indicators that are accountable, capable, and excellent public service. These three aspects become one of the main series to create a culture of service, performance and integrity.

The declaration of the Integrity Zone development towards WBK / WBBM in 12 work units of the Directorate General of Highways was marked by the signing of the Integrity Pact by each head of the work unit witnessed by the Director General (Dirjen) of Bina Marga Hedy Rahadian, Expert Staff of the Minister of Public Works and Housing (SAMPU) in the Inter-Relationship Sector.
