Bekasi - Construction of the Ir. Wiyoto Wiyono, which connects Cawang - Tanjung Priok - East Ancol - Tiga/Pluit Bridge with a length of 30.68 km, started in 1987 which was carried out by the Toll Road Business Entity PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada.

This pioneering action began on June 30, 1987 by carrying out the construction of the first pole using Sosrobahu (a thousand shoulders) technology on a previous project or known as the North South Link.

In the construction of the Cawang - Tanjung Priok toll road project, there are 85 pier heads that must be rotated using the Sosrobahu method.

Then continued the construction of the Harbor Road Toll Road which was carried out in two stages. The first is the Tanjung Priok - East Ancol section of 4.80 km in 1993 - 1995.

Then the East Ancol - Tiga Bridge section with a length of 9.13 Km in 1994 - 1996. In the construction of the Harbor Road Toll Road, the Sosrobahu method is also used.

Sosrobahu technology (a thousand shoulders) itself has been discovered by Ir. Tjokorda Raka Sukowati who is a young engineer from Indonesia, where this method is used so as not to cause traffic jams underneath when construction activities are taking place during peak hours. (BPJT/Dms)
