Functional Toll Road Brebes - Weleri Opened H-10 Lebaran 2017
Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) will open a functional highway for travelers from Brebes to Weleri for 116 km in H-10 this year.
The toll road is divided into three, namely Pejagan-Pemalang toll road from Brebes Timur-Pemalang along 37.3 km and Pemalang-Batang toll road along the 39.2 km. To ensure the toll road, the Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono conducts a direct observation to the evening to ensure the feasibility of the road if it is passed by travelers at night.
The condition of the toll road along the segment is quite good although still in the stage of thin concrete pavement (lean concrete). Basuki appealed for travelers to drive their vehicles safely at an average speed of 40 km per hour.
He asked the Toll Road Enterprises (BUJT) to add street lighting at night and car light reflectors to make it safer. In addition, also markers the direction of exit / entrance toll. "For the streets that are still dust will be cleaned and all construction work will be stopped on H-10 Lebaran," added Basuki.
This toll is being completed the construction of the Kali Sambung Bridge which becomes the critical point which is now in the stage of completion of the bridge floor. Targeted on Tuesday (13/6) has been done casting with fasttrack method with additives that will make the concrete dry faster within three days than usual two weeks. Targeted to be passed on H-10 Lebaran or June 16, 2017.
For the functional Batang-Semarang Toll Road are prepared four temporary rest areas (TIS) among them, TIS Juragan, Gondang, Ketanggan and Plelen.
Overall on functional toll roads of Pejagan (Kaligangsa) up to Gringsing (Weleri) is 116 KM will be provided 8 TIS equipped with musholla, toilets, parking and small food stalls to drink.
