Cengkareng - Kunciran Toll Road Construction Field Visit

Jakarta - Secretary of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of PUPR, Triono Junoasmono, accompanied by the Head of BPJT's Engineering Division Ni Komang Rasminiati conducted a field visit on Friday, (26/3/21) to check the construction of the Cengkareng - Kunciran Toll Road which currently has reached the final stage of completion, namely progress reaching 94.08%.

In checking the Cengkareng - Kunciran toll road section, there is remaining work on the final stage, namely the remaining rigid work on the toll road which is targeted to be completed in the next few days, namely Saturday morning or Sunday morning.

Then for the construction of the guardrail (safety fence) on the side of the Cengkareng - Kunciran Toll Road, it is also targeted to be completed by the end of March 2021.

The plan is that at the end of March 2021, the evaluation team will also begin the implementation of the Proper Function Test (ULF) consisting of elements from the Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Transportation, and the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian Police before it is ready to operate. The Functionality Test is divided into checking the quality of road construction which must meet safety standards for passing road users.

Later, after the implementation of the function acceptance test is completed, a certificate of eligibility from the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, and an operation acceptance certificate from the Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR can be issued and then the operation of these toll roads can be used by the public.

For information, the 14.19 Km Cengkareng - Batuceper - Kunciran Toll Road which is part of the JORR 2 toll road is divided into 4 sections, namely 2.04 Km Section I (Kunciran - Tirtayasa), Section II (Tirtayasa - Benteng Betawi) along 3.52 Km.

Then continued with Section III (Betawi Fortress - H.Sastranegara) along 6.57 Km, and finally Section IV (H. Sastranegara - SS Benda) along 2.06 Km. (BPJT / Dms)
