Construction Progress of Krian - Legundi Toll Road - Bunder - Many Roads Has Reached 70.24 Percent

Jakarta - Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) The Ministry of PUPR continues to accelerate the completion of the construction of the Krian - Legundi Toll Road - Bunder - Manyar in East Java Province along 38.29 Km. Until the end of May 2019, the construction of the toll road construction has reached 70.24 percent.

The road to Krian - Legundi - Bunder - Manyar is divided into four sections, namely Section 1 Krian - Kademean section Replace along 9.45 Km, Section 2 Kademean Mengganti - Boboh section along 13.53 Km. Furthermore, for Section 3 of the Boboh-Bunder section, the length is 6.02 Km, and for Section 4 of the Bunder-Manyar section, which is 9.39 Km long.

The presence of toll roads that are part of the Non Trans Java toll road will later connect the accessibility of vehicle traffic between regions in the Krian area, Sidoarjo Regency with Manyar, and Gresik Regency. Krian - Legundi Toll Road - Bunder - Manyar is a toll road that connects the main industrial areas in the main buffer areas of Surabaya, namely Sidoarjo and Gresik.

This toll road can also provide important benefits in breaking down congestion points on the Surabaya - Gempol toll road. In addition, it also provides other support in accessing the mobility of logistics vehicles around the Port area in East Java.

The presence of Krian - Legundi - Bunder - Manyar road, later can be a link to tourist areas in the East Java region, so that it can provide easy access for vehicles for tourists who come to enjoy every tourism that exists.

The Krian - Legundi - Bunder - Manyar Section 1-3 toll road is targeted to be operational by the end of 2019, then following Section 4 which will be operational in 2020. Construction of toll roads by PT. Waskita Bumi Wira as a Toll Road Business Entity, carried out since 2017 with the scheme of Cooperation between the Government and Business Entity (PPP) using an investment cost of Rp. 12.22 trillion, with a concession period (since SPMK) for 45 years.

BPJT The Ministry of PUPR targets that until December 2019 the realization of toll road operations throughout Indonesia will reach as long as 1,852 Km. In the period of 2015 to May 2019, the toll roads that are currently operating are 985 Km.

The government and BUJT continue to work in order to improve toll road services to the community. This is done through improving rest area services, plans to implement Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) or non-stop payment systems, installing CCTV at each toll road point, as well as adding toll exits to designated areas.
