Head of BPJT Provide Crediting of KPBU to CPNS 2017 at Directorate General of Construction Construction

In the framework of guidance to CPNS Year 2017 at the Directorate General of Construction, Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing, Head of BPJT Herry Trisaputra Zuna provides a briefing on the topic of Infrastructure Investment at the Ministry of PUPR on Friday (11/05) in the Meeting Room of the Secretary of the Directorate General of Construction.

On the occasion, the Head of BPJT explained the various national road challenges, namely the high cost of land transportation due to connectivity,  high travel time, chronic congestion and low road quality, economic and social prosperity hampered by inadequate quantity and quality of road, Traffic Volume is estimated to be two fold in 15 years, or equal to 5% per year and the last is to address the lack of investment in road infrastructure through increased connectivity to boost economic growth.

In addition, the Head of BPJT also convey material on the Cooperation of the Government Business Entity (KPBU) regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 38 of 2015. KPBU is a cooperation between the Government and Business Entities in the provision of infrastructure for the public interest with reference to the specifications set previously by the PJPK , which partly or wholly uses the resources of a business entity with due regard to the distribution of risks between the parties.

Also explained by the Head of BPJT on the comparison of traditional contracts with the contracts of the KPBU where in the KPBU more parties are involved and the financing does not come from the state budget but from the equity of investors and loans from the banking syndication, the existence of Government guarantee through PT. PII, the existence of Law no. 2 of 2012 which becomes the foundation of land acquisition law, the certainty in land procurement (time, cost and executor), and the land bail of BUJT, which is repaid later by Government through LMAN. Head of BPJT added that the future of KPBU is based on the optimization of underwriting structure and focus on setting Performance Based Standard .    

With the holding of this activity is expected for the CPNS in 2017 at the Directorate General of Construction Construction get an idea of the Cooperation Government Business Entity In Toll Road Development that can be used as a guide for the implementation of the task later.
