Commissioner V DPR RI Working Visit to the Construction of the Serpong - Balaraja Toll Road
Jakarta - Commission V DPR RI conducted a Specific Work Visit in order to review the Ministry of PUPR's program on the Serpong - Balaraja toll road, Banten Province to accelerate the construction of the Serpong - Balaraja toll road section IA on Thursday (18/3).
The visit of Commission V DPR was accompanied by BPJT Secretary Triono Junoasmono, and Member of BPJT Academic Element Eka Pria Anas, Director of Freeway, Directorate General of Highways, Budi Harimawan, Director of PT Trans Bumi Serbaraja, Dony Martadisata.
"The Serpong - Balaraja Toll Road is expected to grow the economy in the Balaraja area and its surroundings, and this toll road is one of the accesses that connects the city of Maja, a new city initiated by the Government," said the Secretary of BPJT.
The Serpong - Balaraja section IA toll road has a length of 5.15 Km. Section IA consists of three packages where package 1 is 2.3 km long, package 2 is 0.9 km long with a construction progress of 43.46% and package 3 is 1.9 km long and construction progress is 14.25%.
The toll road construction is targeted to be completed by the end of 2021. Then, the challenge for the construction of the Serpong - Balaraja toll road, one of which is land acquisition.
According to the Member of Commission V DPR RI Irwan, the Central and Regional Governments must be able to work together to solve the problem of land acquisition, because apart from technical construction, non-technical matters also need special attention, such as the problem of land acquisition where it is always a classic problem that continues to be faced at every time. highway construction.
