One of the toll road electronics programs is the use of electronic money for toll payments. By using electronic money, toll transactions become more practical, easier, faster transaction time and can reduce the queue at toll booths.

The electronic money usage program in this toll payment is planned to be 100% in all toll roads in Indonesia simultaneously in October 2017 and this program needs to be supported by all parties "said the Secretary of BPJT.

The speakers in this FGD activity are Indah Agustina Dewi (Birkompu Ministry of PUPR), M. Hafidullah and David Rianto (RWE Bhinda). Presented that the challenge in the implementation of 100% cashless on the highway is how to change the habits and behavior of consumers who are still reluctant to use electronic money. For that we need a more intensive and efficient communication strategy and appropriate target in accordance with the characteristics of each user toll road that provides an understanding that can change from cash society to cashless society. This requires support from all parties, both from the Government, BUJT and banking so that this national program can run well and accepted by the community.
