Friday, June 12, 2015, length of toll roads in Indonesia has increased with the operation of Gempol - Pandaan 12.05 km by the President. Overall, Gempol - Pandaan 13.61 km in length with a total investment cost of Rp. 1.472 trillion. Phase II of the motorway will be operated in conjunction with the operation of the Toll Road Pandaan - Malang, which is currently still in the stage of land acquisition. With the operation of this toll road, the travel time from Surabaya to Malang / Pasuruan or vice versa can be faster because most node existing congestion on the existing road Surabaya-Malang has been unraveled.

 

Besides connecting with Highway Pandaan - Malang, Gempol - Pandaan also connected with Gempol - Pasuruan for eastward and Highway Porong - Gempol on to the north. Highway Porong - Gempol Toll Road is part of Surabaya - Gempol.

 

Gempol Toll Road Concession - Pandaan conducted by PT. Jasamarga Pandaan Tol whose shareholders consist of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. at 78.58%, PT. Pasuruan toll road amounting to 11.84%, and PT. Margabumi Matraraya amounted to 9.58%. PT. Jasamarga Pandaan Tol has a concession period of 37 years starting from the date of issuance to Proceed (SPMK), which is dated October 3, 2012, at the rate of early 2015 for class I Rp. 818 / km.

 

13.61 km toll road using the type of rigid pavement (rigid pavement) with the number of lanes 2 x 2 for the initial phase and 2 x 3 for the final stage, and has nine bridges and two interchanges, namely Gempol and Pandaan Interchange Interchange.
