In his remarks the Head of BPJT said that since 1978-2018 the Government had built toll roads with 1,577 Km in operation, 1.0211 Km of toll road construction and 434 Km of preparatory toll roads.

Towards the toll road in the southern lane there is an initiative on the Bandung-Cilacap-Jogja-Solo Toll Road. Because it is too long so it feels less feasible, this initiative is divided into two, namely, Cileunyi-Cilacap Toll Road and Cilacap-Jogja Toll Road but there has been no follow up from PT. Jasa Marga (Tbk). In addition, PT Jasa Marga (Tbk) once submitted a letter to become the initiative of the Tegal-Cilacap Toll Road in 2016 which is a one-lane network with Ajibarang-Purwokerto, "said Member of the BPJT Professional Element, Mr. Koentjahjo Pamboedi.

Added by the Director of the Freeway and Urban Road of the Directorate General of Highways, Mr. Hedi Rahadian said that if you want to become a Government project, the toll road must first be included in the Regional Spatial Plan and included in the general plan of the national road network. Then the Government will prepare supporting documents including feasibility studies and EIA. Whereas if you want to become an unsolicited project (initiative) there must be a Business Entity that initiated the toll road.

In addition, the Head of BPJT, Mr. Danang Parikesit said that it must be ensured that the Business Entity that will propose an initiative project in addition to having the capability of technical documents, the Business Entity must have adequate financial capabilities.
