Tariff Adjustment for Batang - Semarang Toll Road on August 19, 2021 at 00.00 WIB
Bekasi - Effective August 19, 2021 00.00 WIB, the Batang - Semarang Toll Road section will be subject to the latest tariff adjustments. This has been determined based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR Number 777/KPTS/M/2021 concerning Adjustment of Toll Tariffs on the Batang - Semarang Toll Road Section.
For information, toll road tariff adjustments have been stipulated in Law no. 38 of 2004 concerning Roads. Article 48 paragraph 3 states that the evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is carried out every 2 years based on the effect of the inflation rate.
The Batang - Semarang Toll Road itself has a length of 75 km which is divided into 5 sections. For Section 1 Station-Writing 3.2 Km long, Section 2 Writing-Walking 36.4 Km. Then continued Section 3 Weleri-Kendal 11.05 Km, Section 4 Kendal-Kaliwungu 13.5 Km and Section 5 Kaliwungu-Krapyak 10.1 Km.
The Batang - Semarang Toll Road has played an important role and has great benefits in supporting the smooth driving of all people in the Central Java region and its surroundings, as well as reducing travel time which is increasingly faster.
The Batang - Semarang Toll Road also has 1 red bridge icon known as the Kali Kuto Bridge which connects Batang and Kendal Regencies and is specially designed to meet the elements of robustness, function, and aesthetics.
PT Jasamarga Semarang - Batang as the manager of the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) of the Batang - Semarang Toll Road has provided operational support facilities in the form of a rest area or a place for rest and services. There are 4 rest areas on the Batang - Semarang Toll Road, namely Rest Area KM 391 A, Rest Area KM 360 B, Rest Area KM 389 B, and Rest Area KM 379 A.
Furthermore, in maintaining the safety and comfort of road users as well as to maintain toll road traffic conditions to remain conducive and the fulfillment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) on the Batang - Semarang Toll Road, routine maintenance is also carried out on road construction and other facilities in order to remain comfortable driving.
There are several types of service fleets, namely 4 toll road officer patrol vehicles, 6 tow vehicles, 3 ambulance units, 2 rescue vehicles, 3 police PJR vehicles, and 5 water tank vehicles. (BPJT/Dms)
