Targeted for Completion in September 2021, Support for the Development of the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate Access Interchange (KIT)
Batang - Interchanges along the 3.1 Km which were built at Km 371+750 The Batang-Semarang Toll Road section provide access support to the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KIT).
During his visit some time ago, Secretary of BPJT Triono Junoasmono said the KIT Batang Interchange currently has 100 percent land progress which belongs to PTPN and 64.06 percent construction has been carried out with Rigid Pavement type of pavement. "It is planned that the operational feasibility test will be carried out in August 2021 and is expected to be operational in September 2021," said Triono.
There are eight works in the construction of the Batang KIT Access SS including office walls, toll gate (GT) roofs, erection girders, side channels and solid sodding. Then, LC and rigid layer drainage works at locations F, H, and D, as well as side channels.
The KI Batang Interchange is managed by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB) as an effort to accelerate the development of the Batang KIT as one of the Government's efforts in realizing the National Economic Recovery (PEN) due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In the process of developing connectivity to support the Batang KIT, it is hoped that the maximum use of local labor and domestic products is expected. Later, the Batang KIT can absorb as many workers as possible and open up the widest possible opportunities.
For information, the total development of the Batang KIT covers an area of ??4,300 hectares and is currently almost finished covering an area of ??450 hectares and is ready to be used for investment related to technology. (BPJT/Gery)
