Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat Toll Road Cuts Medan Travel Time to Lake Toba Only 1.5 Hours
Bekasi - Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat Toll Road which is currently under construction as supporting connectivity as well as reducing travel time from Medan to the National Strategic Tourism Area (KSPN) Lake Toba, which only takes 1.5 hours.
Then, the Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat Toll Road is also a supporter of North Sumatra's economic growth in improving the regional economy from Medan to Parapat.
The Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat Toll Road consists of six sections, namely Section 1 Tebing Tinggi-Inderapura (20.4 km) currently the progress reaches 84.83%, Section 2 Inderapura - Kuala Tanjung (18.05 km) progress has reached 65.93%.
Then Section 3 Tebing Tinggi - Serbelawan (30 km) with a progress of 62.68%, Section 4 Serbelawan - Pematang Siantar (28 km) with progress reaching 41.65%. These four sections are managed by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Hutama Marga Waskita and its construction is targeted to be completed by the end of 2021.
For Section 5 Pematang Siantar - Seribudolok (22.30 km), Section 6 Seribudolok - Parapat (16.70 km) which is the support of the Government and is currently still in the process of submitting the Green Book.
This 143.25 Km Toll Road is a continuation of the connectivity from the 61.72 Km Medan – Kualanamu – Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) Toll Road. (BPJT/Dms)
