Bekasi - Effective August 29, 2021 at 00.00 WIB, the latest tariff adjustment will be applied to the Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar toll road section. This tariff adjustment has been determined based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR No. 732/KPTS/M/2021.

Make sure before entering the Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar Toll Road, the balance of the electronic money card (e-Money) is filled sufficiently according to the purpose of driving when making payments at the Toll Gate.

Toll road tariff adjustments have been stipulated in Law no. 38 of 2004 concerning Roads. Article 48 paragraph 3 states that the evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is carried out every 2 years based on the effect of the inflation rate.

The Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar Toll Road is a connectivity that connects the flow of transportation for Group I, II, III, IV, and V vehicles that are integrated directly with Bakauheni Port, so that it really helps accelerate the connectivity of vehicle traffic that passes from Java Island to Sumatra Island, and vice versa.

In maintaining the safety and comfort of road users as well as to maintain toll road traffic conditions to remain conducive and the fulfillment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) on the Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar Toll Road, routine maintenance is also carried out by the PT Hutama Karya Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT). road construction and other facilities to stay comfortable in driving.

This toll road is also equipped with Toll Road Rest and Service (TIP) facilities or Rest Area Rest areas which support the local economy by marketing local MSME products.

Furthermore, complete traffic service facilities are also provided, such as the Highway Patrol (PJR), tow trucks, ambulances, and rescue cars to ensure the safety and comfort of motorists.

In terms of transaction services, several toll booths have been added, namely 2 toll booths at the South Bakauheni Toll Gate (GT), where originally 5 toll booths became 7 substations and 2 toll booths at GT Kotabaru from 4 to 6 substations.

Then, 6 units of Mobile Reader were added at the South Bakauheni GT and 2 Mobile Reader units at the Terbanggi Besar GT. In terms of improving traffic services, PT Hutama Karya is also consistent in carrying out active control of ODOL vehicles.

In addition, the installation of Variable Message Signs (VMS) along the Bakter Toll Road, the addition of 2 VMS Mobile units on patrol vehicles, the installation of 289 units of CCTV on line that can be viewed through the HK Toll Apps application, as well as optimization of central communication.

PT Hutama Karya is also active in carrying out reforestation activities on a regular basis along the Bakter Toll Road as a form of concern for the environment and improving the aesthetics of the segment. (BPJT/Dms)
