of constructing new toll roads by
2024. Collaboration with business
entities is highly needed considering
that the government budget cannot
meet the funding needs for toll road
construction.
According to the 2024 National Medium-
Term Development Plan, a cost of
around Rp171.8 trillion is needed for the
construction of a 1,605.8 kilometer toll
road. By 2024, the government hopes to
achieve the target of constructing 40 new
toll roads with a length of 2,537 kilometers.
In line with the government's efforts to
attract investment in toll road projects,
the Indonesia Toll Road Authority (ITRA)
continued to tender the concession of
five toll road projects in 2021. Those five
projects have a total length of 399.91
kilometer spread across Java and Bali.
The combined investment value of those
