ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, BALI MANDARA TOLL ROAD’S OVERWATER CHARM


Bekasi – Commemorating National Marine Day, the Bali Mandara Toll Road which runs on the Island of the Gods is also present in preserving the marine ecosystem, one of which is through planting mangrove seedlings planted around the Bali Mandara Toll Road.

It has a total of 756,800 mangrove seedlings which certainly have a role in balancing environmental quality and neutralizing polluting materials.

Planted mangroves also play a role as a food chain in marine waters, which can support the life of marine biota. The planting involved 236 experts & workers from the Mangrove Farmers Group from Bali.

The 12.7 Km Bali – Mandara Toll Road connecting Ngurah Rai, Benoa, and Nusa Dua areas became the only toll road in Indonesia that has a motorcycle lane.

The Bali Mandara Toll Road is also the first overwater toll road in Indonesia that presents a beautiful view when driving which is designed by maintaining aesthetics, architectural beauty, and Balinese cultural ornaments. (BPJT/Dms)
